Privacy notice

This notice explains how TheronGroup of Consultants (registration number 2017/505688/07), trading as TheronGroup Projects, handles personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give it, the suburb or town of the job, a description of the work, and any photos you send us. We also record the consent you gave and when you gave it.

Why we collect it

Only to answer your request: to contact you, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote, and carry out and invoice any work you accept. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately agree to that, and we never sell or rent it.

Who sees it

Our staff who handle your job, and the service providers that run this website and send our email (Cloudflare and Resend), who process it on our behalf. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa, under agreements that protect it.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not become a job are deleted after 12 months. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and warranty purposes.

Your rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email ukmahaso@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The spam check on the quote form (Cloudflare Turnstile) and our privacy-first visitor counter (Cloudflare Web Analytics) do not track you across other sites.
