Trees near buildings
Most garden trees are too close to something to be dropped in one piece. We take them down in sections, lowering the heavier pieces on ropes, so the house, walls and neighbouring properties are not damaged.
Power lines and protected trees
A tree close to overhead power lines needs the power supplier involved before anyone cuts it. Some species are protected, and some municipalities need a permit before a large tree comes down. If your tree is in either group, we tell you at the site visit, before any work starts.
